Lloyds Wines Ltd Located between High Wycombe and Great Missenden in the heart of the Chilterns but also online. Run by Simon Lloyd who spent many years French wine to the French in the Parisienne markets before returning to the UK approx 8 years ago. Great selction of wine at all price points. Many unique direct imports not available anywhere else in the UK such as the Patrick Mourlan Rosé and Castello Poggiarello Super Tuscans. Shop generally open Friday and Saturday but always best to call beforehand.

Butlers Wine Cellars – Brighton. A  local institution in Brighton, over 40 years old and run by the super knowledgeable and cool Henry Butler and Cassie Gould.  Super range of wines from good quality everyday wines at everyday prices to top end Burgundy and Barolo. One of the best selections of English still and sparkling wines anywhere in the UK. Located in Kemp Town with a fab online shop and nationwide UK delivery. Top tip some very nice old wines if that’s your thing and an amazing range of wines from the super cool Safa wine maker Pieter Walser of Blank Bottle

Cape Wine and Food – Staines-upon-Thames. This little store tucked away from the centre of town on the Laleham Road is an oasis of South African excellence. Wines to suit all palettes and pockets from an entry level Chenin Blanc  to the stellar Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir Check out their website as there are often case offeat stunning discounts. They are also stocking some of my very cool Alpine Wines too check out the Weinhof Waldschütz wines from Austria.
